Application Forms & Funding Information

The Clinton County Youth Bureau supports a variety of programs designed to provide quality services to children and youth. The Youth Bureau, through New York State Office of Children and Family Services, allocates funding to agencies and municipalities working directly with children and youth.

Youth Development Funding (YDP)

Youth Development funding is awarded to organizations offering community-level services designed to promote positive youth development. Such programs may include, but are not limited to: programs that promote physical and emotional wellness, educational achievement or civic, family and community engagement; family support services; services to prevent juvenile delinquency, child abuse and neglect; services to avert family crisis; and services to assist youth in need of crisis intervention or respite services.

Qualifying for Funds

To be eligible for Youth Bureau funding, an organization must be incorporated as a not-for-profit agency under the laws of the State of New York and have tax-exempt status in accordance with the IRS Code. All programs must be offered free of charge to participating youth.

Application Process

Application packets are available in February each year. The funding is for the calendar year. To receive an application packet or for more information contact the Clinton County Youth Bureau at 518-565-4750.
