The EISEP Program provides case management and non-medical in-home services such as housekeeping and personal care to elderly residents of Clinton County. The program is designed to help individuals eliminate or delay the need to enter a nursing home or other institution and to assist family members in the care of the elderly.

Individuals 60 years or older are eligible if they are functionally limited and have unmet needs and are unable to receive Medicaid or Medicare reimbursement for the same or similar services. Individuals must be able to be maintained safely at home.

PERS is a service utilizing a voice communicator and a button when pressed will alert appropriate persons to respond to the emergency situation in the clients home 24 hours every day.

PERS is sometimes known as Lifeline offers peace of mind and independence to the user and provides respite and reassurance for the concerned family.  In an emergency, one touch of your portable HELP button will bring help within minutes. With Lifeline, help is always at your finger tips 24 hours a day.

PERS is provided for people over the age of 60.  As with most OFA programs the service is provided regardless of ability to pay.  There is a suggested contribution.
